Our Services

It doesn't matter how you honor them, just that you do.

When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one. We will be happy to go over all your options and answer any questions that you may have.

FUNERAL SERVICE

A funeral service is a special time for family and friends to comfort one another, begin to find healing and celebrate a life. Whether you choose burial or cremation, you can hold a gathering to honor your loved one. We are happy to provide a more traditional ceremony or something completely unique. Many cultures and religions have special traditions and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. This is a moment for you and your family and we are honored to help you in any way that we can.

Traditional Funeral

Through the years, funerals have evolved into what we today call the "traditional funeral." Consisting of a visitation period followed the next day by a service and subsequent earth-burial, this is still the most common type of service we perform.

The process of the traditional funeral consists of gathering necessary information on the deceased, such as date and place of birth, parents, type of employment, memberships and relatives, followed by a decision on when and where to have a visitation period and funeral service to accommodate the family and their relatives and friends. The visitation and/or service can be held in a church, lodge, funeral home, or other suitable place.

Typically, the body is embalmed, cosmetized, dressed and placed in a casket selected by the family. The embalming is done as soon as possible and is a simple operation designed to preserve the body throughout the time period necessary to hold the visitation and services.

Frequently, veterans and/or fraternal organizations are called to participate in services held in conjunction with visitation, the funeral service itself, and/or the service at the place of burial or entombment.

Once services are concluded, the casket can be buried in a cemetery, entombed in a mausoleum, or cremation can take place. Cemetery burial usually entails the purchase of an outer burial container or burial vault in which the casket is placed to prevent the earth above it from collapsing.

Today, there are many, many different ideas about how a funeral should be held. These ideas range from the above mentioned traditional funeral to immediate burials, immediate cremations, veteran services, as examples. With nearly 100 years of experience behind us, we at Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory are available anytime to discuss with you the different choices you have today. Feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience to discuss your wishes either at the funeral home or in the comfort of your own home. Or, if you prefer, we will mail you a complimentary brochure.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE

Many people prefer the simplicity of having services at the cemetery or burial site instead of in a church or funeral home. We can arrange this for you with or without a traditional visitation period. Visitation can also be arranged at the cemetery

INFANT SERVICES

Unfortunately, it sometimes becomes necessary to arrange for a funeral for an infant or child that has met with an untimely death. These situations can be especially emotionally trying and call for the expertise of a caring professional. With our experience and understanding, we can make suggestions that may prove helpful to young, bereaved parents.

MEMORIAL SERVICE

Just like a funeral service, a memorial service is a time to remember your loved one. This can be held shortly after death or weeks later, with or without your loved one physically present. What’s important is that it creates a time and a place for family and friends to gather together and support one another, share memories and pay their respects. We can hold a memorial service at our funeral home, the final resting place, your home or other venue. Often, a family may desire to have a private burial or to have a cremation, followed by a memorial service where a body is not present. Contact us any time to arrange a memorial service or for more information.

BURIAL

A casket burial is a service with many options you can choose from. We can provide you with a wide range of options to help you make a selection specific to your needs; a visitation, viewing or wake with a closed or open casket; a funeral service at our funeral home, church or private home and a graveside service at a cemetery. You can choose whether you’d like a public or private service or a combination. It is entirely up to you how you wish to pay your respects.

Private Burial

Occasionally, we are requested to have a private funeral. This can be immediate or arranged for sometime in the future. We can help arrange a completely private service of your choosing: from traditional services to cremation or immediate burial.

CREMATION

We at Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory pride ourselves in offering not only excellence in traditional funeral service, but also in providing a full range of cremation and memorial services. All of our cremations are now handled in our new state-of-the-art crematory located on the funeral home premises. Cremations are handled by our own staff rather than being "sent out" to other locations.

Today we offer several different cremation packages ranging from immediate cremation to a complete, traditional-style visitation and funeral with cremation and subsequent earth-burial. There are unlimited choices beyond the package offerings as well.

We offer a range of cremation and rental caskets for viewing as well as a full display of urns and urn vaults. Memorials services can be arranged for any time, day or night, and all are treated with the respect and care you would expect from Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory.

We also offer a complete selection of keepsake urns (designed to hold a small portion of cremated remains) as well as a full line of cremation jewelry.

We can arrange to have the ashes returned to you, buried in a cemetery, scattered at sea, or whatever your choice might be.
