Terry Alexander Obituary

ALEXANDER

Terry Lynn “Mimi” Alexander, 76, passed peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at home surrounded by family.

Terry was born at Ft. Benning, Georgia, on June 13, 1946, to the late Floyd E. “Red” and Reva (Gloeckner) Alexander.  She worked as a Contract Administrator at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base for years.  That job took her to Israel where she worked for 4 years and grew to love the people she met over there. She retired early to take care of her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she found so much joy in attending their sporting events or just spending time with them! Terry never knew a stranger and enjoyed hanging out with her friends and riding her Harley Davidson. She truly lived life to the fullest!

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, two sons, Christopher (Emily) Alexander and Hasan Hamdan; brother Michael (Lynne) Alexander, sister Vicki Friesland (Bill Conley), Grandchildren, Noah, Karlie, Rachael, Gracie, and Emma Alexander; nephews Jared (Shana) Alexander and Robbie (Angie) Friesland; nieces Christa (Todd) Russell, Heidi (Bart) Howerton, Jessica Friesland (Jim Cunningham); great nephews, Josh (Sammie), Jake (Sarah), Ty, Jaxson, Anden; great nieces, Taylor (Travis), Alivia, Mikaela, Emma; great-great nieces, Rosie and Amelia; great-great nephew Cooper and extended family and a host of friends.

Her very special niece, Jessica, took amazing care of her for the past several years and Terry was forever grateful for her. She called Jessica her Ride or Die or her girl.

Friends and family may call on Saturday, March 4th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory, 103 N. Main Street, London, Ohio with a service beginning at 2:00 PM.

Terry’s family would like to extend a special thank-you to Echo Hospice that took wonderful, compassionate care of their Mom, MiMi, Sister, Aunt and Friend in her last days.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Georgia Huntsman at 700 Cambrian Rd, Cable, OH 43009 or Madison County Special Olympics at 500 Elm Street, London, OH 43140. Georgia Huntsman was recently diagnosed with cancer and is the wife of a coach of the grandkids. Terry was very passionate about the Special Olympics and was involved with them after retirement.
