              Robert D. “Bob” Woods, 79, of Worthington, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in Riverview Rehabilitation, Columbus.

              Born June 9, 1943, in Urbana, he was a son of Sherman and Juanita (Lackey) Woods.  Bob was a graduate of Urbana High School, and received his bachelor’s and law degrees from Ohio Northern University.  He married his high-school sweetheart (Pam) in 1964.

              Bob had a passion for helping others and worked professionally as an attorney in London, Ohio, for 51 years.  He was a long-time member of the Madison County and Ohio State Bar Associations and a former member of the London Country Club. He was also a member of Grace Polaris Church in Westerville.  His love for his Lord Jesus Christ was evidenced in the way he served the people in his life.  He cherished spending time together with his friends and family whom he dearly loved.

                He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 59 years, Pamela (Purdy) Woods; children: Corey Robert (Laurie) Woods and Braden E. Woods; grandchildren: Audrey Woods and Sydney Woods; nieces: Dorinda Doty and Kim Daniels and their families; sister-in-law Shirley Woods. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother Eugene “Gene” Woods.

                The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM in The Ministry Center of Grace Polaris Church, 8225 Worthington Galena Road, Westerville, Ohio 43081. Friends may also arrive at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
