SIMPSON
Richard A. “Rick” Simpson, 67, of Fort Mohave, AZ, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 15, 2021,
in his residence. Born April 9, 1954, in Columbus, he was the oldest son of Dwight and Mary Kay (Strine) Simpson.
Rick graduated from Ohio Northern University in pharmacy. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in London. He worked as a pharmacist in Oh and later moved to Arizona in the early 80's where he continued to work as a pharmacist within the Arizona health care system. He enjoyed scuba diving, recreational marksmanship, and was an avid gun collector.
Survivors include his mother Mary Kay Simpson of London; brothers James (Carol) Simpson and David (Ellen) Simpson; sisters Mary Simpson and Diane Gifford; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was survived by his longtime companion Elizabeth Figley, who also passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his father Dwight Simpson in 2016.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
