Rev. Bobby Gene Smith, 66 of Wallins Creek, KY departed this life suddenly on August 4, 2023, at the Madison County Hospital in London, OH.
Bobby was born April 25, 1957, in Illinois to the late Calvin Estil and Lydia Smith. He ran his own business, Smith Drywall, for over 30 years and he believed in the Pentecostal Faith. Bobby loved hunting, fishing, but spending time with his family is what he loved and cherished the most.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Pamela Jean Smith of Wallins; two children, Rebecca Smith (Philip) Middleton of Bledsoe and Bobby Estil Wayne (Trish) Smith of Wallins; Three very special grandchildren, Destiny, Alishia and Emily Middleton; two brothers, Bucky (Sharon) Smith of Speedwell, TN and Kelly Smith and girlfriend, Elizabeth of Wallins; two sisters, Barbara (Eddie) Collett of Coldiron and Shannon (Doug) of Lafollette, TN; he leaves several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm 7:00 pm Tuesday (Aug.8) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, 114th South Third Street, Harlan, Kentucky 40831. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home. All other services will be private.
