            Raymond E. Toops, Sr., 84, of London, died Sunday, September 19, 2021, in his residence surrounded by his family.

            Born December 13, 1936, in London, he was a son of Weldon and Ethel (Bowshier) Toops.

            A lifelong farmer, Raymond also belonged to Madison County Farm Bureau.

            Survivors include his children Ray E. (Cathy) Toops, Jr. of Marysville, Roger E. (Laura) Toops and Lori Toops-Ramirez all of London, Richard E. Toops of South Vienna, and Robbie E. (Morgan) Toops of London; grandchildren Troy (Chelsea), Kyle (Gillian), Jacob and Jordan Toops, Kaitlyn (John) Gregory, Anthony (Jennifer) Toops, Deeanna (Dexter) Haynes, Lucas, Hayden, Jared (Tissa) Toops, Brianna (Kyle) VanHoose, Ryan and Mitchell Toops; great-grandchildren Mason, Liam, Carson, Connor, Colin, Sadie and Paisley; brother John (Thelma) Toops; many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law Connie Toops and Sue Ripley, and brother-in-law Clyde Moore.

            He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lois, several brothers and sisters, and several nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 22, 2021, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Pastor Gaye Gossard officiating. Interment will follow in Paint Memorial Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 Tuesday, September 21, 2021, as well as Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
