Paul Ernest Stonerock, Sr., 93, of London, died peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2023, in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born November 4, 1929, in New Holland, Ohio, he was a son of Walter and Emma (Wright) Stonerock.

Paul was a United States Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War. After his time in the service, he went on to work professionally for General Motors, to which he devoted over 30 years.

He loved his family dearly, and always cherished spending time together whenever possible.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 67 years Ruth Marie (Stevens) Stonerock; children: Bob Thurston, Paul Stonerock, Jr., Cindy (Barry) McCombs, Mark Stonerock (Laura) Tipton, Cheryl Allemang; grandchildren: Kaylee Stonerock, Kaiden Stonerock, Kennedy Stonerock, Kyle Thurston, Ryan (Anna) Thurston, Lindsey Burnett, Daniel Stonerock, Travis Allemang, Brandy McCombs, BJ McCombs, Justin Cassidy, Shawna Cassidy, Zack Stonerock, Amber Tipton; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Sue Cassidy, son Daniel Stonerock; grandson Bobby Thurston.

A graveside service will be held on 3 PM Thursday, April 13, 2023, in Kirkwood Cemetery, 1600 US Highway 42 SW, London, Ohio 43140.
