HACKWORTH

                Paul William “Bill” Hackworth, 75, of London, died Friday, September 23, 2022, in his residence. Born November 21, 1946, in Plumwood, he was a son of Evelyn (Craft) and Earl Hackworth, Sr.

                Bill graduated from London High School in 1965 and went on to serve in the Army National Guard. Throughout his career he had driven trucks for the former Lazarus stores as well as quality control for Stanley Electric. He was a member of the Lafayette United Methodist Church. His hobbies included golfing, bowling, softball, and above all else he loved spending time with his family. His relationship with Jesus Christ was the center of his life.

                He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Jane (Smith) Hackworth; daughters Pam (Kent) Hackworth Hurley and Jenny (Steve) Hackworth Robinette; grandchildren Olivia (Seth) Hurley Frentsos, Nathaniel Hurley, Manuel Hurley, Ethan Robinette, and Nicholas Robinette; great-grandchildren Eamonn Frentsos, Sybil Frentsos, and Jovial Frentsos; siblings Ted (Kay) Deneca, Tina (Mike) Hale, Steve (Tammy) Deneca; many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law James Smith, sisters-in-law Carole (Jerry) Fraver, Carla Smith and Nancy Hackworth.

                Bill was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather Sherman Deneca; brothers Ed Hackworth and Earl Hackworth, Jr.; sister Dorothy Hackworth; brother-in-law Richard Smith.

                A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, beginning at 11:00 AM in the Lafayette United Methodist Church, 1615 Cumberland Street, London, with Pastor Wayne Stuntz officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Deer Creek Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 26, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London.

                In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Bill’s name be sent to the Special Olympics of Delaware County, 7991 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035.
