Patricia Lee (Freyermuth) Hayes, 80 of London died Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.

She was born April 19, 1941 in Plain City.

Patty had worked and retired from Showa Aluminum in Mt. Sterling and had also been a school bus driver for Madison Plains School District, Shaw Elevator and Buckeye Federal.  She loved visiting cemeteries, painting, reading, jigsaw puzzles, but most of all her grand, great and great-great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of almost 63 years Carric “Butch” Hayes; children Carrie Beth (Mike) Blair, Brenda Lee Castle, Deborah Kay Hayes, David Wayne (Dorothy) Hayes and Daryl Alan (Lisa) Hayes; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; aunt Betty Jean Burns; sisters Mary Carroll and Virginia Groves; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Mary and James White and her father Robert Freyermuth.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday in the Newport Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Dale George officiating. Interment will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the church from 11AM until time of services Monday.
