            Norma Connett, 101, of Lancaster, died peacefully on Monday, May 1, 2023, in the Bickford of Lancaster.

            Born February 8, 1922, in Linworth, Ohio, she was a daughter of Paul and Ida (Hug) Fischer.

            Norma had a passion for helping others and spent a long career working as a labor and delivery nurse for Mount Carmel. She was also a member of the Peace Lutheran Church of Gahanna.

            She is survived by daughters Katherine (Mark) Erbaugh and Kristina (Thomas) Simpson; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; many nieces and nephews.

            Norma was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband Malvern Connett; siblings Paul (Dora) Fischer, Ruth Thornton, Ted Fischer, Louise Fischer.

            The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 380 Keny Blvd, London, Ohio 43140. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Blair Miller officiating. Private graveside services are being held at the convenience of the family, and interment will be completed in Dayton National Cemetery.
