                Nancy Lee Gross, 82, of London, OH, formerly of Johnson Creek, WI, died Friday, August 18, 2023, in the Bluebird Retirement Community.

                Born May 21, 1941, in Indianapolis, IN, she was a daughter of Marie (Landrey) and Henry Bayer.

                Considered to be the World’s Greatest Mom and wife by all who knew her, Nancy had worked as a nursing assistant after decades of staying home and raising her family and managing the daily operations of the family beef farm.

                She leaves behind her loving husband of almost 64 years, Donald R. Gross; adoring children Michael (Jan) Gross, James (Cindy) Gross, Peter (Julie) Gross, Joan Gross, Paul (Kirsten) Gross, Laura (Michael) Buechner and Anne (Tommy) Watkins; grandchildren Andrew (Kelsey) Gross, Steven Gross, Kaitlin Gross (Fiancé Matthew Nawa), Matt Gross, Jeffery (Katie) Gross, Jacob (Brittany) Gross, Hunter (Emily) Gross, Tera (Kyle) Loppnow, Nicole (Leland Hyman) Gross, Garret Gross, Cheney Gross, Reagan Gross, Nixon Gross, Quincy Adams Gross, Eric Buechner, Alyssa Buechner, Brianna Buechner, Colton Buechner, Trey Watkins, Clayton Watkins, Alaina Watkins and Nora Watkins; great-grandchildren Braxton, Knox, Blakeley, Charlie, Teagan, Cooper, Kipton, Rory and Everett; sisters Sally Petrakis and Joyce (Bob) Pillsbury, brother Bruce (Heidi) Bayer; many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

                She was preceded in death by her parents Henry & Marie Bayer.

                A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 19, 2023, (Nancy and Don’s anniversary) at the home of Peter and Julie Gross, N 5921 Jefferson Road, Johnson Creek, WI.
