Nancy C. Dexter, 82, of London, died Saturday, February 19, 2022, in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
Born April 5, 1939, in Belle Vernon, PA. to Leroy and Zelda (Beato) Walters, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of London. Nancy enjoyed gardening, reading, wildlife and her Buckeyes. She was a very giving person and supported many charities over the years.
She will be deeply missed by her surviving family, including her husband of 45 years, Bob Dexter; children Bruce (Mary) Dexter, Tammy (Wayne) Gardner, Mark (Polly) Dexter, Cheryl (Dr. Craig) Marshall and Sharon (Kirk) DeSize; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters Virginia Miller; Patricia Sholtis, Larry Walters and Leroy Walters and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and sisters, Barbara Sadler, Sally Harkins, Violet Brown and Kathy Lipari.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 26, 2022, in the First Presbyterian Church, 211 Garfield Avenue, London, with Reverend Desiree Youngblood officiating. Friends may call at the church from 1 PM until time of services. FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
