RYAN
Mary Ann Ryan, 72, of London passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Mary Ann was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 10, 1949, the daughter of the late Raymond Bernard and Martha Jane (McAdam) Ryan. A 1967 graduate of Jonathan Alder High School, she was a Columbus area resident her entire life. An avid Ohio State fan along with her family, Mary Ann served the community as a registered nurse for 40 plus years. Mary Ann had worked at Doctor’s West Hospital, Riverside Methodist Hospital, Mount Carmel Hospital, Grant Medical Center, Mid Ohio Oncology, and also worked as a Traveling Nurse. Described as an Angel by many, Mary Ann retired from Loving Care Hospice in 2014 and continued to care for others by working at Sisters on Elm. She was a former member of Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church in West Jefferson, Ohio. Survivors include her brother Mark (Carrie) Ryan of Indiana. Several nieces and nephews including Kristi (Tom) McKenney, Kerri (Matt) Bigler, Katie (Justin) Carpenter, Melissa Schmidt, Brian Ryan, and Amy Ryan (Bill Boyd); sister-in-law Wendy Ryan and brother-in-law Ron Echelberry, and beloved cousins Jan (Greg) Luring, Teri (John) Bagley, and Diana (Joe) D’Amico, and God-daughter Delaney Bagley. She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Jane Ryan, sister Connie Echelberry and brother Michael Ryan. A Celebration of Life is being planned at this time and will be announced to all. The family suggests memorials be made in Mary Ann’s name to Loving Care Hospice, PO Box 445, London, Ohio 43140 or Sisters, 76 Elm St. London, Ohio 43140.
