Larry W. Threlkeld, 83, of London died Tuesday, September 21, 2021, in Doctors Hospital West.
Born April 22, 1938, in Columbus, Georgia, he was a son of Harvey and Dora (Liner) Threlkeld.
Larry had worked at the former Arm and Hammer, Purex and Dial plant in London retiring after 41 years. He belonged to the London Church of Christ and loved fishing, playing softball, senior bowling and the Atlanta Braves.
Survivors include his sons Mike Threlkeld and Gary Threlkeld; grandchildren Harley (Carey) Threlkeld, Nicole (Justin) Smith, Alexis Threlkeld, Cody Threlkeld and Jimmy (Amy) Fox; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews Jim (Marianne) Money, Frankie (Gene) Elliott, Goldie Waters and Janie (Andy) Estep; son in law Bill Fox.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Bonnie in 2014, son Larry Threlkeld, Jr., daughter Teresa Fox, granddaughter Shannon Fox and siblings Noramae, Buddy, Junior, Bit, Louise and David.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Springfield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 PM Monday.
