Larry David Dever

        Larry David Dever, 76, of London, died Monday, October 2, 2023, in Mount Carmel Grove City.
        Born May 24, 1947, in Scioto County, he was a son of Russell Dever and Ruth (Green) Dever.
        Larry was a graduate of London High School, and he owned and operated his own auto repair shop. He taught at Lincoln Technical Institute and was an avid Hunter.  Larry was a member at London Baptist Church.  He was a skilled gunsmith and enjoyed trading antique guns. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, and was also a member of both the Chandler Lodge #138 F&AM and the London Lions Club.
        He leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years Nancy Leah (Griffith) Dever; children Rodney David Dever, Larry Daniel (Emily) Dever, Jennifer (Erik) Dorn, Jullianne (Mike) Kramer, Benjamin Russell (Martha) Dever; grandchildren Joseph, Ella, and Samuel Dever, Jessica, Andrew, Emily, and Samantha Dorn, Fiona Dever; mother Ruth Dever; sister Wanda Kalb; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Larry was preceded in death by his father.
        Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. Interment was completed in Kirkwood Cemetery, London.
