MORRIS (KITCHEN)
Karen L. (Kitchen) Morris, 76, of London, died Thursday, March 12, 2020 in her residence.
Born September 30, 1943 in Columbus; she was a daughter of Roy and Margaret (Brown) Chamberlain.
Karen had grown up in Mt. Sterling, attending the Plains High School. An avid OSU football and basketball fan; she was also a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She might be best remembered for her 40 years of working at the London Kroger Store, where she was affectionately known as Karen Kroger. She enjoyed riding the bike trails in Yellow Spring, shopping, spending time with family by the pool, and was an avid fan of her grandchildren through sports and school events. Karen always had a positive outlook and never met a stranger.
Survivors include her husband Thomas Morris; children Kevin Jordan, Lisa Jordan (Kris Swank) and Khara (Jarrod) Cunningham; her grandchildren all of whom she adored Kris Jordan, Jacob Jordan, Kyle Glispie, Justin Glispie, Shyanne Glispie (Nate), Gracie Gaston (Hunter), Emma Gaston, Khloe Cunningham, Jaxon Cunningham and Dalton Cunningham; great grandchildren Julia Jordan and Izzy Fairbanks; sister Connie (Ron) Bechdolt; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family including TJ, Justin and Kienlee Hill, her Kroger Family and her Riverhouse Friends in Florida.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; husband Lowell Kitchen and her grandparents who raised her Mary and Kinnie Chamberlain.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to Dr. Don Benson and Dr. James Kaehr for their support and caring.
PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF SERVICES: Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday.
