Karen Sue (Holt) Harris, 78, of London and formerly of Xenia, died Monday, August 9, at her home, following a year-long battle with multiple myeloma.

Born November 11, 1944, in Pomeroy, Ohio, she was the daughter of Helen and William Holt. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, 1 brother, and her Beloved Husband of 58 years Mayford "Junie" Harris Jr. Survivors include a sister, Sherry (Gene) Goodwin, her son Mayford "Mick" Harris III and wife Natlie (Wheeler), daughter Carri (Mark) Osbourne, grandchildren Matthew (Caroline) Osbourne, William Osbourne (fiancée Evelyn), and twins Josie and Dean Harris. Karen also leaves behind numerous extended family and friends which loved her deeply.

Per her request, neither visitation nor funeral services will be observed. Her ashes were inurned with her husband in a columbarium, located at the First United Methodist Church in London, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations, in Karen's name, be made to Summit Home Care and Hospice, 2760 Airport Dr. Building C Suite 160, Columbus, Ohio 43219.
