Joseph Edward Patterson, 45, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 17, 2021. Born June 2, 1976 to the late James and Bobbie (McCoy) Patterson.

Joe was raised in Big Plain, Ohio. He attended Madison Plains High School where he made many lifelong friends. He also life served in the Army. Joe was currently employed by Nissen Chemitec America as a processing technician.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Lisa Stage, Alice Patterson, and Trisha Patterson, and one brother James Edward Patterson.

He is survived by fiancée, Rose Foreman; two sons Elijah and Izaac Patterson; his stepchildren Izabella and James Donahue; his sisters Ruth Patterson, Lisa Wiltsie, Glenna Mahoney, Jeanette Fox and Roberta Timmons; uncle Kenny (Delores) Patterson and aunts Edna Denise and Josephine (Jerry, Sr.) Hooper. Joe was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Although his family was not in agreement, Joe was an avid Michigan fan. He also loved John Wayne and football. Joe was an assistant coach on the Pickaway Dawgs football team.

The Eberle Fisher Funeral Home is assisting the family with services. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 11 AM to 1 PM with a small service beginning at 1 PM at the funeral home, 103 North Main Street, London. Burial will follow at Harrison Township Cemetery in South Bloomfield. The family has chosen to purchase flowers from Flowers by Ralph in Mt. Sterling Ohio.
