John W. McMillin

MCMILLIN

John W. McMillin was born January 17, 1967, and passed away September 19, 2023. He was 56 years of age. John was born in London, Ohio and graduated from London High School. 

John was a faithful member of The London Church of Christ.  He loved to fish.  He also loved westerns and John Wayne was his favorite.  In his younger years he was a fan of WWF & NWA.  He played church league softball for many years.  John loved to mow lawns.  He mowed the lawns of neighbors, friends and family and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

John supported all his nieces and nephews in their educational and athletic endeavors.  He was a great brother, son, uncle and friend.  John faced many health challenges without complaint.  He was a warrior!

He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Jane (Landes) McMillin.  John is survived by brothers William (Vicki) McMillin, James (Robin) McMillin, and Robert (Bobbie) McMillin, and sister Betty Ann (Mike) Writesel; many nieces and nephews. John was deeply loved by his family and will be dearly missed.

Friends and family are welcome to remember and celebrate John’s life for his graveside service on Saturday, September 30th, 2023, beginning at 1:00 PM Oak Grove Cemetery in Georgesville, Ohio, with Pastor Gary Cotto officiating.
