ARDREY

            Jerry K. Ardrey, 86, of London, died on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in the Madison Senior Living Community, surrounded by his loving family.

            Born February 2, 1937, in Kansas City, Missouri, he was a son of Robert Neil and Mary Ellen (Cornwell) Ardrey.

            After graduating from high school, Jerry went on to attend Ohio Wesleyan University and later The Ohio State University. He was a lifetime member of the Ohio State University Alumni Association, a member of The Ohio State University Presidents Club, Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, and the Aladdin Temple Shrine. Jerry never knew a stranger, and would light up a room the second he walked in. His laughter and fun personality will be missed by all who loved him so dearly.

            Jerry leaves behind one brother Gregory N. Ardrey; godson Mark Spencer, goddaughters Karen (Timm) Reed and Laura (Dennis Fabro) Spencer; God grandchildren: Brandon, Leah, Kattie, Delaney, Matthew; nephews Christopher and Robert (Tammy) Ardrey, niece Jennifer (Kelly) Ardrey; great niece Adeline and great nephew Landon.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife Beatrice D. (Dillon) Ardrey in 2017; father and mother-in-law Walter and Alice Dillon.

            A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM in Deer Creek Township Cemetery, 1255 National Pike, London, Ohio 43140, with Pastor Blair Miller officiating.
