HAFNER
Belleville, Michigan – Janet Mae Hafner, born on December 28, 1955, in Garden City, Michigan, to Donald Eugene and Margaret M. (Williams) Bryant, has peacefully passed away on July 5, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones in her home. She was 67 years old. Janet was the beloved wife of the late William Hafner, and her memory will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Janet found joy in life’s simple pleasures, cherishing moments spent chatting with friends and family, savoring snacks, and creating beautiful memories with her friends, nieces, and nephews. She possessed an uncanny ability to touch people’s lives in a positive and meaningful way, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Janet was the loving mother of Tina Watkins, Joshua (Shawn) Watkins, Brian Watkins, and Magnum (Jeff Webb) White. She was also a cherished grandmother to Joshua, Alicia, Cainin, and Isabella, and a great-grandmother to Gabriella. Her nurturing and caring spirit enriched the lives of her family, providing love and support that will be remembered forever.
Janet leaves behind her dear sister, Pamela (Chuck) Mays, along with extended family members and special friends, Kim (Eric) Adams and Sandy (Jr) Johnson, who were like family to her.
Janet was preceded in death by her siblings, Mike, Linda, and her twin sister, Nancy, as well as her nephew, Chad, niece Lisa, niece Donielle, great-nephew Dylan, and great-great-nieces Lakeynn and Raelynn. Their memories will be forever treasured alongside Janet’s in the hearts of her family.
Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Janet are invited to pay their respects at 10am on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, located at 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio. Following the service, Janet will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in West Jefferson, Ohio.
Janet Mae Hafner’s presence was a beacon of love, joy, and positivity, and her memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved sister Nancy.
