HUNTER
James “Jim” E. Hunter, 73, of London, died on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, in his residence.
Born November 28, 1949, in Greenfield, he was the son of Nellie (Coughlin) and Kenneth Ray “KR” Hunter.
Jim served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. Following his time in the service he worked for Amtekco Industries as a welder, and later retired as the assistant plant manager. Jim enjoyed hunting, target shooting, gardening, and tending to the animals. His family was the pride and joy of his life, and he cherished every moment they were able to spend together.
He is survived by his three daughters Jennifer (Tim) Little, Jacqueline (David) Bolin, and Jill Ellen Bradshaw; grandchildren Jordan, Addison, Evan, Linson, Kinsley, Ian; three great-grandchildren; sister Joretta Hunter (Pat McNaughton); several cousins including special cousins Garnett and Valda Hunter; special friend and sweetheart Lisa Daniels; good friends Jeff Phillips, Bob Lewis, Larry Camp, Harry Todd, and Jeff Schlister.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; wife Pamela Sue Hunter in 2012; grandparents CR Hunter and Rose Hunter.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, beginning at 10:00 AM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140, with Pastor Neal Hagerman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 2:00 – 6:00 PM.
