PREECE
James F. Preece, 82, of London died Thursday, October 21, 2021, in his residence.
Born April 2, 1939, in Inez, KY, he was a son of Luther and Lydia (Perry) Preece.
A US Army Veteran, James had worked and retired from Honda of America. He loved to tinker around the house and was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.
Survivors include his daughters Rachel (James) Cash and Erica Preece; grandchildren Harrison, Norah and Cecelia Cash, Taylor and Alyssa Preece and Aubrey Mayabb; sisters Dotty Cecil, Lynda Fields and Barbara Allen, brother William (Grace) Preece, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Virginia Davis and brother Ronald Preece. Per James’ request, cremation will take place.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, November 27, 2021, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London. Friends and family are welcome to share memories following the service until 3 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Loving Care Hospice, P.O. Box 445, London, Ohio 43140.
