JOHNSTON
James Milford Johnston, 91, of Columbus, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021, in the Kobacker House, Columbus.
Born February 23, 1930, in Dayton, he was a son of DeWitt Talmadge and Zaina Yvette (West) Johnston.
Jim lived life on his own terms. He farmed, trained horses, worked in a rodeo, did general maintenance and was an excellent carpenter.
Survivors include his sister June Ann Zimmerman, brother Edward William (Myrtle) Johnston, several nieces and nephews, former wife and friend Cathy Johnston and several good friends including John Tennant, Gary Peck and Alfred Sellars. He was preceded in death by his sons David James Johnston and Christopher Johnston, sister Anna May Lazarevich and brother Eugene Talmadge Johnston.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Saturday in Somerford Township Cemetery, London.
