Irene Stroup VanHoose

VanHOOSE (STROUP) Irene B. Stroup Van Hoose, 86, of London died Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in her residence. Born February 7, 1933 in Columbus; she was a daughter of Henry Alfred and Martha Ann (Katzenbach) Stephens. Faithful to the Lord, Irene had taught bible study at Seton Apartments for several years. She retired as an account clerk for the Ohio Peace Officer's Training Academy. Survivors include her children Lisa (Mick) Snyder and Jenny Sanders of London, Steven Victor Stroup of FL, Robert J. Stroup of Mt. Sterling, Thomas L. Stroup, Randy J (Edie) Stroup and Sally (Thomas) Blair of London; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Henry "Denny" Stephens of Columbus; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Leonard Stroup. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, July 1, 2019 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Mr. Randy J Stroup officiating. Interment will follow in Paint Memorial Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 AM until time of services Monday.
