SCURRY
Harold “Jack” Scurry, Sr., 80, of London died Saturday, April 17, 2021 in his residence.
Born September 16, 1940 in Madison County, he was a son of Ralph and Gladys (Holloway) Scurry.
A US Army veteran of Vietnam, Jack had worked for the United States Post Office, retiring in 1992. A member of the First Baptist Church in London, he had also served as Master Councilor of the Knights of Pythagoras (A.G. Holloway Chapter.) Jack was also an avid golfer and art enthusiast.
Survivors include his son Harold John Scurry, Jr. of Columbus, daughter Danielle (Brad) Dresbach of Indianapolis, many nieces and nephews, brother-in-law Michael Pinkston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ralph and Fred Scurry and sister Beulah Pinkston.
A Celebration of Life Service for Jack is being planned at a later date.
