Gwen E (Stembel) Potter

            Gwen E. Potter, 77, of London died Tuesday, June 1, 2021 in Mount Carmel Hospital, Grove City.

            Born September 1, 1943 in Urbana, Ohio, she was a daughter of John E. and Alma E. (Louden) Stembel.

            A 1961 graduate of Urbana High School, she was the first “Sparky” mascot! Gwen had worked and retired from Stanley Electric in London in 2008.

            Her pride and joy in life was watching her two sons play sports.

            Survivors include her son Chad A. Potter of Florida, nephews Scott James, Cary James and Stephen James, all of Marysville; former husband Dale Potter of Mechanicsburg and many cousins.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, son Brad D. Potter, sister Barbara E. James and nephew Jeff James.

            Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main street, London from 3-6 PM Friday, June 4, 2021. A memorial service will begin at 6 PM.

            In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gwen’s name may be sent to the Madison Health Cancer Center, 210 N. Main street, London, Ohio 43140.
