BUCKLEY
Gladys L. Buckley, 92, of Hilliard, formerly of London, died Sunday, July 30, 2023, in Norwich Springs, Hilliard.
Born January 18, 1931, in Louisa, Kentucky, she was a daughter of Roscoe Jasper Prince and Della (Hay) Prince.
After graduating from high school, Gladys went on to work for Ohio Bell Telephone where she devoted over 34 years of service before retiring in 1983. Gladys attended the Newport United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the UMW. She also was a long-time volunteer for Madison County Hospital.
Gladys is survived by three sons: Stephen (Janet K.) Buckley of London, Gregory Buckley (Micki Hughes) of London, and Kenneth (Deborah) Buckley of Galloway; grandchildren Renee (Tim) Wilcox, Elaine (Ed) Conley, Benjamin (Megan) Buckley, Jordan Hughes-Buckley (Virginia Kaelin), Laurel (Kevin) Wong; great-grandchildren Adelyn Buckley, Malachi Buckley, Mathias Buckley, Evelyn Buckley, Chase Conley, Alexis Hughes, Corinne Hughes; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband Roger Buckley in 2001; brothers Curtis, Ivan, Willis, Henderson, and Fred Prince; sisters Vida Carrier, Ada Thompson, Bessie Jacob, and Jessie Miller.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Paint Memorial Cemetery, London.
