HARTMAN
Getena “Tena” E. Hartman, 66, of Mt. Sterling, died Thursday, July 15, 2021, in The Ohio State University Hospital.
Born October 2, 1954, in Nashville, TN, she was a daughter of Otis “Edward” and Phyllis “Jean” (Heeter) Gotto.
Tena had been employed in the Fashion Department at Meijer and attended the Madison County Vineyard.
She had a passion for flowers, gardening, painting, traveling and all sorts of crafts.
Survivors include her husband David Hartman; daughter Michelle (Pat) Smiley, son Jamie (Danyelle) Berg; grandchildren Justin Berg, Garrett Sargeant, Lola Berg and Michael Smiley; two great-grandchildren; mother Phyllis (Michael) O’Harra; siblings Betty Jan (Nelson) Bartel, Judy (Bill) Hess, Dawn (Laura) Jones, Vickie Gotto and Bobby Gotto; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Edward, son Jason Berg, brothers Scott Jones and David Gotto.
A Celebration of Tena's life will be held at the Madison County Vineyard on July 31, 2021, from 12 noon-2 PM.
