Elsie Marie Carter, age 77, of London, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, in her residence.

She was born on January 22, 1944, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Elbert and Lynnie Arnold Evans. On November 29,1963 she married John Carter who survives.

Elsie was a member of the Mechanicsburg Church of God of Prophecy; she volunteered her time in many areas nursing homes singing to the residents. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, baking, and ceramics and she took pride in her family.

Survivors include her husband, daughter; Tammy (Greg) Jenkins of Grove City, grandchildren; Dwayne and his fiancée Jennifer Jenkins, Nathan (Brittany) Jenkins, Cody (Rachel) Jenkins, Tyler (Eran) Jenkins and Candice (Luis) Rubi, great grandchildren: Kayleigh, Abigail and Audrey Jenkins and Luna Rubi. Elsie was preceded in death by her parents and son John Carter.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021, in the EBERLE FISHER FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY with Pastor Mike Dempsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerford Township Cemetery. Friend may visit the family on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Facemasks are requested at the funeral home.
