Earl Kimbler, 86, of London, died Wednesday, September 14, 2022, in the Madison Senior Living Community.
Born September 18, 1935, in Johnson County, Kentucky, he was a son of Flossie (Montgomery) and Harold James “Hop” Kimbler. Earl had spent his career as a farm manager for Sawyer Farms as well as a golf course manager for Deer Creek State Park. He also served as a 4-H Club Advisor, and a member of the former Sedalia Lions Club. Earl enjoyed golfing and fishing in his spare time, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 67 years Peggy June (Ellis) Kimbler; children Debra Kimbler, Jeff (Robin) Kimbler, Scott Kimbler, Mark (Kathy) Kimbler, Mike (Shelly) Kimbler; grandchildren Ryan (Chantana), Jason (Casey), Tyler (Michelle), Matt (Allison), A.J. (Brittany), and Marissa Kimbler; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers David (Kay) Kimbler) and Ben Kimbler; several nieces, nephews, cousins; brother-in-law Butch (Cheryl) Ellis.
Earl is preceded in death by his parents, great-grandson Dylan Kimbler, sister Jessie Kimbler, brother James Kimbler and brother-in-law Carl E. Ellis.
A celebration of Earl’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Earl’s name be sent to Friends of Deercreek State Park, 2095 Ute Drive, Circleville, Ohio 43113.
