Donald E. “Weasel” Davis, 84, of London, died Thursday, August 13, 2020 in The Ohio State University Hospital.
He was born April 21, 1936 in London, Ohio.
Don had worked his entire career for the Goodyear Plymouth Chrysler Dodge Dealership in London, was a former volunteer for the emergency squad and loved bowling.
Survivors include his children Michael (Linda) Davis, Diana Bell and Deborah (Christopher) Scott; grandchildren Nicole Davis, Revisa Bell, Maurice (Mariah) Bell, Jr., Kalab Mast, Darius (Zay) Davis, Jasmine Scott, Ebony Scott, Christopher Scott and DJ “Duck” Scott; great-grandchildren Maurice Bell, III, Kayden Bell, Mackinley Bell, Raelyn Nickleberry and Mia Nickleberry; several nieces and nephews including special nieces Beverly Jackson and Delorse Patterson; many cousins including special cousin Emma “Toots” Anderson; and good friends Phil, Dave and Eddie Goodyear, Reverend Huguely, Mark Blazer and Jane & Laura from Sunoco One Stop, as well as many other friends and family he leaves behind.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Davis in 2011, mother Frances Davis Jenkins, step brother David Drake; half brother Tommy McNeil and half sister Lois (Annie) McNeil; sister and brother in laws Almeda (Earl), Esther (Wendell), Hattie (Billy), Erma (Pete), Naomi (James), Wesley (Annabell) and Virgil (Georgia).
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Reverend Melvyn Huguely officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM until time of services.
The family suggests memorials in Don’s name to St. Paul AME Church, 11 West Center St., London, OH 43140. Repass will be at Deb Scott’s 2174 State Route 56 SW, London, OH 43140 following burial services.
