ELAM
Diana L. Elam, 72, of London died Friday, January 8, 2021 in her residence.
Born February 20, 1948 in Columbus; she was a daughter of James and Evelyn (Vannoy) Carsey.
A 1966 graduate of The Plains High School and a member of the London Church of the Nazarene, Diana had also been a longtime employee of the London Kroger.
She was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Carsey, grandparents Pearl and Lillian Vannoy and Lillian and Harvey Carsey, father and mother-in-law Wavel and Jennie Elam and brother-in-law Scotty Elam.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years Steve Elam; children Leslie (Jim) Murdock, Stephanie (TJ) Leach and Scott (Kim) Elam; grandsons Charles Elam and Brandon Leach of USAF, granddaughters Ashley (Mike) Trombley, Andrea (Andrew) Throckmorton, Amber (Jon Lawson) Reisinger, Emily Leach and Seasa Elam; great-great granddaughter Blakelee Lawson; father James Carsey; sisters Terri (Mike) Rees and Lori (Jeff) Harris, brother Larry (Cindy) Carsey; several nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters in law Janice (John) Pauli and Pauline (Bobby) VanHoose, brother in law Wavel “Sonny” (Claudia) Elam.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, January 11, 2021 in the London Church of the Nazarene, 224 Elm Street, London with Reverend Jim Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow in Paint Memorial Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the church from 2-6 PM Sunday.
