David Eric Jenness

JENNESS

            David Eric Jenness, 47, of London, died Friday, August 11, 2023, in Select Specialty Hospital, Columbus, surrounded by his loving family.

            Born June 22, 1976, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, he was a son of Nancy (Pitts) and Michael Ray Jenness.

            Dave had worked professionally both in management and as a caregiver. He attended Revive Baptist Church in London and was a member of Kairos. Dave had a passion for music, especially his favorite bands the Grateful Dead and Acoustic Hookah, and he could always be found on his way to a concert which is how he ended up meeting the love of his life, Michelle. He enjoyed road trips, especially the trip to Arizona with his best friend Courtney. Throughout his adventures, Dave never met a stranger and was instantly a friend to any and everyone. His family, friends, and music “phamily” were the absolute lights of his life, and he cherished all the memories they were able to make together.

            He leaves behind his beloved wife Michelle (Davis) Jenness; brother Rob Jenness (fiancée Tiffany Arnett); nieces and nephews Korbyn Davis, Kaileagh Davis, Brogan Davis, Gracie Jenness, Dustin Jenness, and Drew Jenness; aunt and uncle Edna and Dave Pitts; brother-in-law Kevin (Amanda) Davis; life friend Courtney Gutowsky.

            Dave was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandmother Barbara (Rollins) Pitts, and in-laws Larry and Rita Davis.

            A memorial service will be held at a later date.
