DAVIS
Cynthia Ceon (Borgman) Davis, 68, of London, died Monday, April 8, 2024, in The Ohio State East Hospital, Columbus.
Born July 28, 1955, in Columbus, she was adopted by George Leonard McMurray and Wilda M. (Huber) McMurray.
Cindy was someone who ensured she always stayed busy and worked several jobs throughout her lifetime. She started her career as a BWC clerk for the State of Ohio where she devoted over 20 years. Cindy also worked for Ameritech for 8 years, and then worked alongside her husband Robert in R.L. Davis Deliveries Bonded Inc. for 15 years.
When not working, Cindy enjoyed shopping! Whether shoes, clothes, purses or jewelry, Cindy loved it all and would splurge at her favorite stores Gucci, Chanel, and Prada. The matriarch of her family, Cindy’s priority was always to ensure her family was well taken care of and would do anything for them. She was the absolute best wife, mom, grandma, mentor, friend, and source of comfort that any family could dream of having. Anyone who knew Cindy knew that Saturdays were devoted to OSU football, and all-day Sunday was reserved for the Cincinnati Bengals, Who Dey! Cindy was secretly a very competitive lady, and would always dominate her fantasy football leagues. She also enjoyed spending time with her girls drinking margaritas and sangrias and singing karaoke as loud as she could! Cindy also enjoyed their trips to the casino. Additionally, Cindy enjoyed camping with her husband and grandkids. She especially loved driving the mobile home, leading her family to their next adventure.
Cindy leaves behind her adoring husband of almost 47 years Robert Davis; daughters Kendra Davis and Dana Davis; grandchildren Jordan Thurman, Jayshaun Thurman, Jermiah Thurman, Malek Sowell, MiKayla Thurman, Makhi Sowell; great-grandchildren Kadence Thurman, Novia Thurman, Quadir Thurman, Royce Thurman; four-legged companions Bently, Iggy, and Icess.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Sherry Kloeker; loving dog Brutus.
The family invites friends to attend a time of visitation on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140.
