Betty L. Coffey, 82, of London, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in London.
Born April 20, 1937 in Camp Creek, Ohio; she was a daughter of Emmitt Burdette and Leona (Boldman) Burkitt.
Betty had owned and operated the former Golden Scissors Beauty Salon in London. A member of the Catawba Christian Fellowship, she had also belonged to Phi Beta Psi Sorority and truly enjoyed her grandchildren and flowers.
Survivors include her daughters Cheryl Anders (Richard Adelsberger) and Darla (Randy) Colwell; very special friend and companion Dick Gordon; grandchildren Caitlin Anders, Allison Anders (Brandon), Nicole (Nick) Samela, Ashtyn Colwell, Jared (Sarah) Coffey, Justin Coffey, Kyle Coffey and Shane DeWine; great-grandchildren Josie, Greysen, Hadley, Jacob, Elizabeth, Gabe, Gracie, Cameron, Catalena, Camila, Kellen, Ethan and Lauren; brother Delmar (Marcie) Burkitt; sister Brenda (Paul) Browning, a host of several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends; daughter in law Debbie DeWine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul Coffey, daughter Pam Coffey, son Steve Coffey, brother Gerald Burkitt and sister Joann Green.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, March 2, 2020 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London with Pastor Steve Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-6 PM Sunday.
