SELNICK Wilma (Schmid) Selnick, 76, of London died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Riverside Hospital. Born January 7, 1938 in Springfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of Evelyn Mae (Temple) and Edward Martin Schmid. Wilma had worked as a secretary at WPAFB for 11 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of London where she also volunteered in the church office. She also volunteered as a teacher's assistant at the London Elementary School. She participated in several bowling leagues in London and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post # 1031 in Springfield, Ohio. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law David and Christa Selnick of Tiffin, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob S. "Jack" Selnick in 2012; sisters: Mildred Henson and Martha Lanter; brothers: Johnny and Robert Schmid. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., London, Ohio with Chaplain Lloyd Markley officiating. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 AM until time of services on Saturday, October 18, 2014.
