HASTINGS William R. "Rikk" Hastings, Jr, died Saturday, December 28, 2013 in Drs. Hospital West. Born May 9, 1971 in London; he was a son of Carolyn (Little) and the late William Richard Hastings, Sr. Rikk had served in the US Marine Corps during Desert Storm and had also worked at Crane Plastics in Columbus. Survived by his mother Carolyn of Mt. Sterling; sister Charlotte Johnson of Springfield, nieces and nephew Tyler Brown, Stefanie Brown, Holly Johnson and great niece Elena Brown; aunts and uncles Bertha Cox of South Vienna, Judy Hastings of London, Donna (Rick) Sargent of Washington CH, Alice (Monte) Miller and Nancy Little, Paul (Diane) Little all of London, Jim Little (Joann Messer), Robert (Ada) Hastings, Jr, both of West Jefferson, Larry (Robin) Hastings of Urbana and Kenny (Fanny) Hastings of London and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held at 6 PM Saturday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St. London with Rev. Lee Stanley officiating.
