REED

William David Reed, 62, of South Solon, died Saturday, June 18, 2022, in Select Specialty Hospital, Columbus after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born October 9, 1959, in Jamestown, Ohio, he was a son of William Darrel and Janet (Wilson) Reed.

Dave had spent his lifetime as a mechanic working for JD Equipment in London, as well as many farmers in and around Madison County. He was an avid lover of his Harley Davidson and was always willing to take a ride. Above all, Dave loved his family and simply adored spending time with all his grandsons.

He is survived by three daughters Amanda (David) Evans, Amber Newman (Kyle Corbin) and Ashley (Chris) Macy; grandsons Aaron (Brittany), Hunter, Jacoby, and Andrew; four brothers Darrel (Kathy) Reed, Danny (Becky) Reed, Delbert Reed and Dwayne (Denise) Reed; mother Janet Reed; aunt Shirley Baughn, several nieces and nephews.

Dave was preceded in death by his father William Darrel Reed, grandmother Katherine Wilson, and uncle Jack Baughn.

A Celebration of Dave's Life will be held at a later date.
