BIRMELE

William Edward Birmele, 55, of London, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, February 1, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

Born February 18, 1964 in London; he was a son of Edward C. and Joan Anne (Piorkowski) Birmele.

Bill had been a DJ with Big Dog Music, was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, American Legion, Madison Memorial Post #105 and Eagles Aerie #950.

Survivors include his parents; sister Eva Marie Steele (Mike Terry), brother Joseph (Jennifer) Birmele and sister Catherine (Gregory) Cahalan; nieces and nephews Todd (Jessica) Steele, Alicia (Zane) Beathard, Ashley Birmele, Landon Birmele, Paden Birmele, Edward (Susan) Cahalan, Caitlin Cahalan and Nicholas Cahalan; five great nephews; aunts Alice Walters and Juta Birmele; many cousins and numerous friends.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday, February 7, 2020 in St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Michael Hinterschied officiating. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME, 103 N. Main Street, London from 3-7 PM Thursday with a Wake service being offered at 7 PM.
