DHUME Wendell "Pete" Dhume, 88, of London, died Monday, June 11, 2018 in Madison Health. Born November 19, 1929 in Madison County, he was a son of Roy and Sarah (Hanscel) Dhume. Pete had worked for the Madison County Engineers, retiring in 1992. He had been on the board of directors for the Miami Valley Steam Threshers, belonged to the Madison Co. Senior Center, the former Summerford United Methodist Church, volunteered at the First United Methodist Church and loved jigsaw puzzles, woodworking, flea markets and antique motors (hip-skip). Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews, sisters in law Beverly Dhume of London, Bonnie Dhume of Plain City and Helen Dhume of London and step sons Rick (Linda) Robison of FL and Tom (Sara) Robison of CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Aleene in 1970, second wife Berith in 1995, brothers Mike, Donald and Robert and sister Mary Lou "Suzie" Dhume. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London with Rev. Steve Rath officiating.
