PRICE Wayne P. Price, 91, of London died Friday, January 30, 2015 in the Arbors at London. Born August 29, 1923 in Plain City; he was the son of Pearl Raymond and Mary Beatrice (Long) Price. A lifelong farmer, Wayne belonged to the Newport United Methodist Church, was a past master of the former Leanore Lodge and past patron for the former Nellie Counts Lodge both in Sedalia, a member of Chandler Lodge #138 F & AM, London and the OES #386, London, past Master of the Range Community Grange, past supervisor of Madison County Soil and Water District, a lifetime member of the Madison County Farm Bureau and the Ohio Two Cylinder Club and a host of Plow Days. Survivors include his wife of 68 years Ruth (Stickel) Price; children Pamela (Roger) Call and Charles (Claudia) Price all of London, Mary (Earl) Collins of WA, Thomas (Pamela) Price of West Jefferson, Steven (Linda) Price and Nancy (Steven) Creamer all of London; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren (with one on the way), brother in law Jim Shoaf of London and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Leona B. Shoaf. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London with reverend Jeff Smalley officiating. Interment will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 PM Wednesday, where Masonic Services will be held at 8 PM. If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions to the Newport United Methodist Church.
