LITCHFIELD Wayne H. Litchfield, 86, of London died Monday, September 26, 2016 in London. Born September 17, 1930 in Champaign County; he was a son of John and Williss (Colwell) Litchfield.Wayne had been a press operator with Lennox, retiring after 30 years. He faithfully attended the London Church of Christ in Christian Union, had a love of woodworking and gardening and was a fantastic friend who would do anything for anybody.A loving husband, father and grandfather; he is survived by his son John (Pam) Litchfield, daughter Shirley Litchfield all of London, granddaughter Susan (Rodney) Foley of Galloway, sister in law Marie Craft of London, many nieces, nephews, a host of friends and his most favorite buddy "Chickie". He was preceded in death by his wife Carrie A. Litchfield in 1999 and five brothers and sisters.Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London with Rev. Lee Stanley and Pastor Earl Green officiating. Interment follows in Kirkwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 PM Sunday and from 1 PM until time of services Monday. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
