Wanda Lee (Smith) Reid, age 84 of Orient, passed peacefully at home on Monday, August 18, 2025, in the arms of her loving family.

Born on September 13, 1940, in Athens County, Ohio, Wanda was a daughter of Wilbur Smith and Lulu (Willard) Smith.

A devoted caregiver with a heart of gold, her strong will and compassion knew no bounds. Wanda enjoyed sewing, working on her genealogy, and may even have been known to have a fondness for online shopping. No matter what challenges life bestowed upon her, Wanda cherished the solace of being home on the farm with family most of all...especially when they were able to share a sweet treat as a glorious ending to another perfect day together.

In addition to her parents, Wanda is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Frank R. Reid; sons Greg and Jeff Reid; several brothers, sisters, and many other family members.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her son Steve (Denise) Reid of Philadelphia and Joyce (Eric) Walker of Orient; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Private interment in Sunset Cemetery, Galloway will take place at the convenience of the family.
