IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wade Jason
Peters
November 24, 1962 – September 24, 2025
PETERS
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Wade Jason Peters, who departed this life on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the age of 62. A man of quiet strength and deep faith, Wade lived a life of service, hard work, and unwavering kindness.
A true jack-of-all-trades, he worked as a dedicated forklift operator for Marie Calendars, ran his own laundromat with pride and care, helped keep his community clean working in the car wash business, and offered lawn care services with a neighborly smile. No task was too small or too great – he simply believed in doing good work, honestly and humbly.
Beyond his work, Wade found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved watching deer in the stillness of the early morning, searching for hidden treasures at local thrift stores, and spending quiet moments in prayer. More than anything, he was a man who prayed not only to God, but for the people around him – family, friends, and strangers alike. His faith was his compass, and his love for others was felt in every thoughtful word and helping hand.
Wade leaves behind a legacy of kindness, faith, and hard work. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Kathy (Linn) Peters; mother Anna (Taylor) Salmons; son Wade (Rebecca) Peters, Jr., step-daughters Melissa (James) Krantz and Jessica (Eric) Moses-Newell; step-grandchildren Jayce, Addison, and Emerson; great-nephew Gabriel; brother Tim (Brenda) Peters, sister Sharon (Ted) Parillo; along with numerous nieces and nephews; beloved Chihuahuas Hunny, Liz, and Rose.
Wade was preceded in death by his father Carl Joseph Peters; daughter Anna Peters; brother Joe Peters, sisters Lydia Baird and Sheila DiFabio.
Cremation will take place in accordance with Wade's wishes, and public services will not be observed. Rather, to celebrate the legacy of a man who gave so much and asked for so little, we encourage you to pass his kindness along. Help a stranger in need, spend a little time listening to those who need it most, and above all, to leave the world just a little bit better than you found it, just as Wade strived to do.
Memorials in Wade's name may be sent to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital online at www.stjude.org, The James Cancer Hospital online at https://giveto.osu.edu/makeagift/details/313545, or to Turning Point USA online at https://donate.tpusa.com/.
