SINKFORD Vivian E. "Boots" (Lowery) Sinkford, 93, of South Charleston died on February 5, 2019 at Madison Health in London. Born February 9, 1925 in London; she was a daughter of Ernest H. and Geneva (Lane) Lowery. Vivian was a member of St. Pauls AME Church where she served as a stewardess and missionary. She loved to read, solve puzzles and watch Cincinnati Reds baseball. Survivors include her children: Louis (Amy) Sinkford, Robin (Robert) Johnson and Dana (Henry) Wilson; grandchildren Jeffrey Wilson (Trina), Kelli Smith (Steve), Brayden Sinkford and Lavon Johnson; great-grandchildren Brandi (Steven), David, Ava and Morgan; sister Beverly (Edward) Poindexter; brother Phillip (Alice) Lowery and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis G. Sinkford, parents; 4 brothers, a sister and grandson Derek Sinkford. Funeral Services will be held at 12-Noon on Saturday in St. Paul AME Church, 11 W. Center St., London with Reverend Melvyn Huguely officiating. Interment will follow at Kirkwood Cemetery, London.
