Obituary

CORPAC

Violet Jean (Miritello) Corpac, age 84, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 5, 2026, in the Kensington Place.

Born on June 30, 1942, in Flushing, New York, Violet was a daughter of John Ficarra and Violet Jean (Miritello). Following her high school graduation in 1960, Violet went on to work many years as a receptionist for both Ground Level Solutions and Bill Swad Chevrolet, where she was always known for her welcoming presence and warm smile.

A longtime member of the Christian Center Church in Gahanna, Violet was also able to give back to her local community through volunteering with the Whitehall Police Department.

Above all, Violet was devoted to her family and to her passions. She was an avid dog lover who rarely met a canine companion she didn’t adore. Her greatest joy in life, however, was her role as a grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, leaving them with memories of unconditional love and laughter.

Left to cherish her memory include her children: Diana (Chris) DeLuca of Levittown, New York, Michelle (James) Harris of London, Ohio, and Richard (Mindy) Corpac of Troy, Ohio; grandchildren: Brittany Mendenhall, Robbie Mendenhall, and Anthony (Shayla) Corpac; one great-grandchild on the way; brother William (Nikki) Miritello of Westbury, New York; nephew William “Billy” Miritello, Jr.; her beloved four-legged fur baby Raven.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Violet.

Cremation will take place in accordance with Violet’s wishes. Public services will not be observed.

Memorials in Violet’s name may be sent to benefit the Miami County Animal Shelter to support the building of a new shelter. Donations may be sent to: 1110 N County Road 25A, Troy, OH 45373.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140, where condolences for the family may be shared online at www.eberlefisherfuneralhome.com.
