Victor Douglas Linkous, 71, of West Jefferson, died Monday, February 5, 2024, in his residence.

Born September 2, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, he was a son of Herbert Wade Linkous and Virginia (Russ) Linkous.

Vic worked professionally as a warehouse supervisor for American Corrugated. He was an avid golfer, and also enjoyed watching the OSU Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Considered to be the life of the party, Vic was truly one-of-a-kind. He touched the lives of many, who will ensure his legacy lives on.

He is survived by his children Gina (Joseph) Jose, William McWhorter, and Robert McWhorter; grandchildren Kirsten, Michael, Olivia, Heather, Brittani, Bill, Courtney, and Brooke; several great-grandchildren; best friend Chris Mechlien.

Vic was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mickey Hamilton and Pam Hamilton, brothers Larry Linkous and Bill Linkous.

A celebration of life will be held in the near future.
