HARRIS Vicki Lynn Harris, 63, of Arizona, died unexpectedly at the home of her son in London on Monday, June 24, 2013. Born in Palmyra, Michigan on October 20, 1949, she was a daughter of David and Bonnie (Erickson) Sorensen. Vicki was a former teacher for 25 years at the London Correctional Institution from where she retired in 2005. A graduate of Michigan State University, she avidly followed their sports activities. She was actively involved in her community in Apache Junction, Arizona, and she enjoyed being a loving caregiver for many of her friends there. She had a passion for cooking and gardening. A very forgiving person, she was always willing to give freely of herself. Survivors are her three children that she dearly cherished: David (Julie) Harris of London, Andrew Harris of London, and Amelia (Adam) Annaccone of Pittsburgh, PA; two grandchildren, Aubreigh and Isabelle Harris; three sisters, Theresa Sorensen of West Jefferson, Kristi (Randy) Jasin of Plymouth, MI, and Diane (Mario) Barrera of Lansing, MI; a brother, Tim (Laurie) Sorensen of Manton, MI; and nieces and nephews. Her parents preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held at 7:00PM Friday, June 28, 2013 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, London, with Rev. Gordon Ell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00PM until time of services Friday. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Oakwood Cemetery in Holton, MI. If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions in Vicki's name to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Funeral Date: 2013-06-28
