Vicijean Geer, age 86, of London, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025, in Grant Medical Center. She leaves behind a legacy of dedication and service that touched generations of students, colleagues, family, and friends.

Born April 20, 1939, in Summerford, Ohio, Vici was a daughter of Chester R. Geer and Doris (Brake) Geer. A lifelong believer in the power of education, Vici earned her bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University and later completed her master’s degree at the University of Dayton. She devoted her professional life to London City Schools, where she began her career as an English teacher. Through years of commitment and leadership, she rose to the position of Assistant Principal, from which she retired in 1998. Vici later received the honor of being inducted into the London High School Academic Hall of Fame. Her impact on the school system extended beyond her administrative role, as she also served twelve years on the London School Board, helping guide the district with wisdom and care.

Vici was a faithful and active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where she also previously served as Church Council President, exemplifying her deep commitment to faith and community service. She was also a proud member of the 20th Century Club and the Order of the Eastern Star #386, valuing fellowship, service, and lifelong learning.

Known for her intelligence and quiet strength, Vici believed in working hard and serving others. Her influence will continue to be felt through the many lives she shaped as an educator, leader, and as a friend.

Vici is survived by cousins Jeanne McCarty, Jim Geer, Sally Greenlee, Richard Brake, Patty Gibson, Robert (Nancy) Brake, Don Brake, Ann (Tim) Beathard, and Candy Randles; dear friends Mary Marvel, Lynne Payne, Linda Ward, and Sue and Steve Allen; a host of other cousins and many friends.
